Established in 1977 at the request of Virgil's manager, Richard Torrence, the Society provides a central source for information about Virgil's life and career. We publish the Clarion (which is a bi-annual newsletter), occasionally sponsor concerts, promote the release of his recordings on CD, and act as an archival facility for unreleased recordings and numerous videos.
